Mangaluru, Oct 31: In a vibrant celebration of Deepavali, Moms of Mangalore, a registered trust and community of 42,000 mothers, recently hosted Bolpuda Gauji—Season 3. This Deepavali-themed event aimed to foster joy, unity, and inclusivity within the community, bringing families together for a day filled with fun and cultural pride.
The event featured a lively array of competitions, including Diya Decoration, Best Out of Waste Diya Holders, Greeting Card Making, a Dance Competition, and a Costume Contest, showcasing the creative talents of children across all age groups. Families also participated in a Parent and Child Ethnic Walk, where they proudly displayed their traditional attire, celebrating the spirit of Deepavali and family connections.
A standout moment was the inspiring ramp walk featuring children with special needs, dressed in Diwali attire and carrying their hand-decorated diyas. Walking alongside their parents, these children illuminated the stage, reflecting the day’s commitment to inclusivity and the importance of creating spaces for all children to shine.
Generously sponsored by Euro Kids-Kodialbail, the event engaged younger children with free, hands-on learning activities that sparked curiosity and joy. Co-sponsors included Fieldstar, GroupEx Fitness, Birthday Poppers, Chunari, Hangyo Ice Creams, Mangaluru City Vibes, Stanley's Studio & Video, and Krishna's Photo Vision, whose contributions helped make the day a memorable experience for all.
Every child who participated received a goodie bag, a participation certificate, and an ice cream treat from Hangyo, adding to the smiles and laughter of the day. Esteemed guests of honour Sandhya Kamath and Waseem from Mangalore Meri Jaan were present to celebrate the occasion, while distinguished judges Gauri Suhas Rao, Vinayak Acharya, Anvitha Acharya, and Gowtham Padmashali evaluated the competitions, offering their support and encouragement to all participants.

From the beaming smiles on children’s faces to the community-wide embrace of inclusivity, the event left an indelible mark on everyone involved, creating cherished memories for families and children alike.
