Mangaluru: Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrated in city; awardees honoured

Mangaluru, Nov 1: Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated in city with fervour and salutations to the state flag in a programme organised by the Dakshina Kannada district administration in Nehru Maidan on Friday, November 1.

District in-charge minister Dinesh Gundu Rao presented the 2024 district-level awards to 57 achievers and 24 distinguished organizations at the program.

Prominent attendees at the event included Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta, Mangaluru City Corporation mayor Manoj Kodikal, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, MLC Ivan D’Souza, and Dakshina Kannada president of the Karnataka Sahitya Parishat Dr M P Shrinath.

    what is the use of kannada language apart from speaking purpose? people who have done MA in Kannada are jobless..no preference is given in govt jobs...applicable to both blue j pigs as well as Congress party....just once in a year this tamasha
