Udupi: Trinity Central School undertakes beach clean-up drive on Republic Day

Media Release

Udupi, Jan 26: 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness', though a rather anciently cliched adage that we have all grown up with; we know that in a world that’s gradually healing from the pandemic, one is cognizant that it is imperative to follow through on keeping our environment clean.

Trinity Central School recognizes its commitment in maintaining a clean and sustainable environment for all.

As part of the Republic Day festivities, on Saturday January 23, 2021 the teaching staff of Trinity Central School decided to give Malpe Beach at Udupi a facelift by engaging themselves in a beach clean-up drive. Energized with the warmth of the sun accompanied with cool sea breeze, the teachers covered almost 3-4 km of the beach stretch, collecting close to 20 bags of trash.

With the campus nestled among Mother Nature, the school endeavours to be an exemplary role model for all in imparting value education not just in academics but also in their obligations towards society. After all, 'The environment is the only home we have. Let us all work together to make it clean and safe for the present and future generations to come.'
