Puttur, Jan 22: Out of 11 colleges under the Catholic Board of Education, St Philomena PU College (SPPUC), here, raised the flag of victory in the board examination 2019- 20 in all streams. The felicitation programme for rank holders and retired staff members of SPPUC was held on January 21 at the Catholic Board of Education in the diocese here.

Under the Catholic Board of Education, there are 11 colleges and the students of the college have upheld the glory of the college by their remarkable achievement in the board examination of 2019-2020 in all streams (arts, commerce and science).

Sudhanva Shyam secured the sixth rank in the state with a grand total of 591 and Shruthi U S secured the eighth rank with a grand total of 589 from the Science stream. Rithesh Rai securing the eighth rank with a grand total of 590 and Anoop Swarga securing eighth rank with a grand total of 590 from the Commerce stream and Nishanth from the Arts stream were felicitated for their tremendous achievement in the board examination.
