Mangaluru: Christmas, New Year celebrations held at SCS Preschool

Media Release

Mangaluru, Dec 25: The positivity radiated by the SCS family, when everything around looks so gloomy reflected in the school environment. The joy and cheer with which they are all set to welcome the New Year definitely reflects a ray of hope and good will in the days to come.

With the Christmas cheer
Welcoming the new year,
The SCS team made it clear
That with the right mindset, precautions and attitude,
'We have nothing to fear'.

Christmas and New Year celebrations were conducted with much gaiety and splendor. The enthusiasm with which the teachers decorated the premises with the handmade decor was heartwarming. Christmas stars made by the children were also used as part of the decor.

December 19 was a day of reunion between the teachers and students. The Christmas fiesta was organised along with the open house. Children accompanied their parents to school and met with their teachers. It was a very emotional moment and showed how much they missed the school and their teachers. They were excited to meet Santa Claus and receive gifts and goodies from him. Every child also received a handmade Christmas card from their teacher (A treasure for life)

On December 24, a Christmas and New year programme was sent online to the children. The programme consisted of carols, dance and a Christmas message from the Principal Vinaya D'Souza. Sushma was the master of ceremonies. The programme was thoroughly enjoyed not just by the children but their families as well.

Efforts put in by the management and staff were truly commendable.
