Mangaluru, Dec 17: The College of Computer Science and Information Science, Srinivas University Mangaluru in association with the IEEE Srinivas University student branch is hosting a national level virtual conference on 'Future Technologies of IT, Management, Education and Social Sciences' on December 19, 2020. Inauguration of the conference will be conducted at Srinivas University city campus, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru at 10:30 am.
CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor, Srinivas University and president, A Shama Rao Foundation will be the present, Shyamaprasad Hebbar, senior vice-president, corporate services, Diya Systems (Mangaluru) Pvt. Ltd, will be the chief guest, Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor, Srinivas University and vice-president, A Shama Rao Foundation, A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, director, A Shama Rao Foundation, Mitra S Rao, secretary A Shama Rao Foundation and Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor, Srinivas University will be the guests of honour. There will be two pre-inauguration sessions on 'Green Computing' by Dr Rajesh Bose, associate professor, department of computational science, Brainware University, Kolkata and on 'Application of Data Analytics in Business & Research' by Dr Venugopala P S, associate professor and coordinator, UG programs, department of CSE, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte.
The inaugural programme will be followed by two technical sessions. The first technical session will be on 'Trends in Computing'. Divya M G, vice-chair, IEEE Bengaluru section and joint director, SDOS Group, C-CAC, Knowledge Park Bengaluru. Dr Hareesha K S, professor, department of computer application, MIT Manipal, director, Kumudha Health Tech Pvt Ltd, Manipal Universal Technology business incubator will deliver the second technical session on 'Edge Computing for VR and AR'. There will be paper presentation in the afternoon session Dr Sandip Roy associate professor and HoD, department of computational science, Brainware University, Kolkata Dr Sachin Kumar associate professor, department of computer applications Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology, Uttar Pradesh will be the chairpersons. Dr Krishna Prasad K associate professor, CCIS, SU Conference is the convenor, Prof P Sridhara Acharya dean, CCIS, SU is the conference director and Dr A Jayanthiladevi Research Professor & Director- IR & IRC is the conference advisor.
