Mangalore, May 21: The consultative committee meeting held in the city on Thursday May 20, has decided to allow the people free access to the ‘Gurudarshan’ programme of renowned Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev, being held on May 27 at T M A Pai International Convention Centre in the city. The members of the committee met in the premises of Patanjali Clinic in Bejai here on Thursday, to discuss the modalities of Baba Ramdev’s visit to the city.
The ‘Gurudarshan’ programme will be held from 5 to 7 am that day. Honorary president of the district Patanjali Yoga Committee, P P Hegde, Dr Jnaneshwar Nayak, Bhaskar Devasya, Suvrita Kumar, Harshvardhan, Ramachandar Bykampady, Harish Padukere, Agnel Rodrigues, Srinath Hegde etc., were present.
Baba Ramdev is set to inaugurate ‘Rajatadri’ guest house at Dharmasthala on May 26. This building has been constructed for providing accommodation to the devotees visiting the temple town. The inaugural will be held at Amritavarshini auditorium in Dharmasthala. This function will be presided over by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Hegde, while district in-charge minister, Krishna J Palemar, MLA, K Vasant Bangera, and VRL Group chairman, Vijay B Sankeshwar, will participate as chief guests.
