Udupi: Tree Branch Collapses on Electrical Shop at Kelaginapete Beedinakere

Udupi, May 16: A large branch of a massive tree located at Kelaginapete Beedinakere interior road, collapsed on a shop across the road on Sunday May 16.



The electric cables were also damaged and traffic was disrupted for a few hours at Kelaginapete as the branch blocked the road. 

The electrical shop, owned by a certain Ashok Shetty yane Uday, resident of Padubidri, was partially damaged in the incident. 

The labourers of zilla panchayat member Karunakar Poojary cleared the branch by chopping it into sizeable pieces and the traffic movement was restored.
