Dubai, Apr 26 (IANS/WAM): The United Arab Emirates-based Emirates Airline has announced the resumption of its online check-in service, affected by the disruption in flights due to ash from Iceland's volcano, from Monday.
The airline said it would run extra services on a number of routes to get thousands of stranded passengers their destination.
Richard Vaughan, Emirates' divisional senior vice president, said: "We are continually assessing every option available as we strive to resume normal service across the network."
"After several days of additional services to the UK, including three extra flights to Gatwick today, our services to Europe are nearing business as usual. We are doing absolutely everything we can to get them to their final destination," he added.
