Udupi, Sep 17: Trisha Vidya College is shifting to a new campus and will be inaugurated on Sunday, September 20 at Katapadi.
Trisha Vidya College (day and evening) which was functioning in Udupi since 2017 near Udupi court will be shifting to the new campus at SVS College from September 20 said CA Gopal Krishna Bhat president, Siddhanth Foundation.
The inauguration of the institute at the new campus will be held on Sunday, September 20. In the morning the new college building will be inaugurated by Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat president, Sri Rama Vidyakendra Trust Kalladka. In the afternoon at 3.30 pm Sri Vidyadheesha Teertha pontiff of Palimaru Matha, Udupi will bless the institute. Dr P Subramanya Yadapadithaya vice-chancellor, Mangalore University, Dr Satish Kumar Bhandary vice-chancellor of NITTE University, Lalaji R Mendon, K Raghupati Bhat MLA, Udupi, Pramod Madhwaraj, former MLA, members of the managing committee of S V S Vidyavardhaka Sangha will be present on the occasion.
The new campus is built on 6-acres of land in Katapadi which has a well-equipped classroom, playground and library with a good ambience to study.
Trisha Group of Institutions is well known to never compromise on the quality of education. It provides the best professional training to the students of various interests, along with coaching for competitive exams under commerce and management streams like CA, CS and MBA, banking exams. From this year onward, the College has decided to commence BCom, BCom professional and self-employment courses.
Amid the pandemic, the College has shifted its classes online. There are over 480 students who are receiving education, Bhat said.
