Manchester, April 1 (IANS) For the first time ever, eight Indians feature in the top 100 of the men's and women's World squash rankings.
After fine performances in the Chennai Open, India's Siddharth Suchde and Harinder Pal Sandhu have entered the top 100 of the latest Professional Squash Association rankings.
They join national champion Saurav Ghosal who also rose a rung to career-best 28th spot.
Suchde moved up 12 places to be at 90th position pushing himself to the second spot among the list of Indians, surpassing compatriot Sandhu.
Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal also reached their best ever rank of 30 and 43, respectively in the Women's International Squash Players Association rankings after their main draw appearances at the Chennai Open last month. Joining them in the top 100 are juniors Anaka Alankamony, Aparajitha Balamurukan and Anwesha Reddy.
