Dhahran, KSA, Mar 2: The final match played between RADICON and Star 11 at Dhahran Mall ground.  RADICON won the toss and elected to bat first.  Ishtiyaz and Shoukath opened the innings.  The first wicket went down in the form of Shoukath.  Imad joined Ishtiyaq and played good knock and carried the score up to 53 in 7 over.  Later, the captain Niyaz Ahmed and Anwar provided a good partnership for the fourth wicket to bring the score up to 122 in 15 over.  In the end, Usman had a blazing knock of 22 runs in just 9 balls completing the innings scoring 161 in the allotted 20 over. 

In reply, Star 11 started strongly with a good opening partnership between Sadiq and Jouf for 38 runs.  At one stage, Star 11 looked favourites for winning as they were scoring very well, but when Niyaz brought on Anwar and Usman to bowl, they shared 7 wickets in just 6 over.  Afwan Karkala who is a part time bowler took the last wicket to give RADICON, the victory.  They managed just 94 runs. 
 
Earlier, in the semi finals, Star 11 beat Crescent and the host MBCC dramatically entered the semi final were RADICON beat them to enter the finals.  Once again, the only team to be unbeaten in the entire league cum knock out tournament was RADICON. 
 
The tournament commenced on Jan 1 2010, with the teams playing the league matches at the Dhahran Mall ground and Rashid ground.  Six teams participated in this tournament.  MBCC were the organizers and the others were Crescent, RADICON, Legends, Khobar Brithins and Star 11. 
 
The closing ceremony was successfully arranged by MBCC organizing committee members Nadeem Wastee and Tasleem, in which the prizes were distributed to the deserving players.
