“A tree is known by its fruits; a man is known by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.”- St Basil

Mangaluru, Jul 15: At St Agnes CBSE School, Vanmahotsava celebration was a great success in July.

The students’ response for online Vanmahotsava celebration was greatly appreciated. The events helped to bring awareness about the green cover around us. It also helped in strengthening the bond between humans and plants. The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instil the value of social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding trees and forests. Although the students were at home due to Covid 19, the school gave an opportunity to the students to participate online in various activities like drawing, planting the sapling in their homes, recitation and singing. Each activity had a unique story to tell and spread the message that the green planet they live in must be protected and cared for.

The management and staff greatly appreciate the effort of the students and congratulate each and everyone for their contribution towards this great event. We do congratulate and appreciate the response of parents who have taken initiative to inculcate love towards nature in students and gratitude towards God.
