'Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much' is the watchword of II PU Students of Shakthi Residential College
Mangaluru, Jul 15: The students of Shakthi have gone out of their way to make an outstanding first impression by bagging cent percent results in both the Science as well as Commerce streams.
Shakthi PU College came into its existence in 2018, after all the colleges in the city had commenced their classes. The incessant rain of that year had hampered the construction work. It was inevitable for Shakthi Education Trust to begin functioning that year without which the permission would remain cancelled. With all the dilemma the trust took a firm decision and made way for students with mixed calibre to enrol. The challenge of training students from different backgrounds with different levels of comprehension was shouldered under the able leadership of Prabhakara G S as the founder principal.
Students from Kannada medium too joined along with the ones who scored less marks in SSLC. With the guidance received from efficient lecturers, they proved that 'None of us is as smart as all of us'.
Out of 22 students who wrote the PU Board exam, eight bagged distinction and the remaining 14 first class marks enhancing the result to 100 percent.
Priya Viona DSilva, Sankalpa Girish, Sharath Kumar, Khatija Rahifa, Rahil Ummar Faruk Abbu, Thushar, Khadeeja Shahama, K T Tharun Aiyappa bagged distinction.
Akshay Acharya B, Anil Kumar S, Hruthik K T, K S Varun, MadhuRaj P C, Nazeela Fathima, Prathik S, Rajath R Gujaran, Ritvik R Shetty, Riza Basheer, Saniya Iram, Shreyas Somanna P B, Syed Mohammed Moosa, Vibha S secured first class marks.
They dreamed, they practiced, and they won. The students had selflessly committed their time and effort to hard work and gave their best every single day. Their hard work and effort paid it all. We are grateful to them for showing strong desire to learn and the urge to fulfil it with excellence and perfection said Dr K C Naik, the founder of the exalted Shakthi Group and congratulated them for being through toughness and diligence, that helped them achieve excellent results.
Success is sweet. But it is sweeter when it is achieved through co-ordination, cooperation and collaboration of all the faculty. Sanjith Naik, the secretary, Ramesh K- chief advisor, Prakyath Rai- institute development officer, Prabhakar G S- principal, Shakthi PU College and Vidya Kamath G- principal Shakthi Residential School, Neema Saxena- co-ordinator, Shree Gopalakrishna Pre-School congratulated the students and thanked the teaching and the non-teaching faculty for being an exemplary team of dedicated staff.
