ASI tests positive, Kaup police station temporarily closed

Kaup, Jul 11: Kaup police station has been closed as the assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Kaup police station has tested positive for COVID-19. The station has been temporarily closed for two days.

It is said that the ASI used to travel from his home in Kota to Kaup daily by bus.

The station is temporarily closed. It will be sanitized and opened for public after 48 hours. For the time being, the station would function from a nearby temple hall, sources said.

The test report of the said police personnel arrived on Saturday afternoon.
