Bengaluru: Second, fourth Saturdays too holidays for schools

Bengaluru, Jul 11: Holiday has been declared for even second and fourth Saturdays for all schools and offices falling under the department of public instruction.

An order issued in this regard by the director in the primary education department in the department of public instruction said that this step has been taken towards regulating spread of COVID 19 infection.

The holidays for second and fourth Saturdays will be in force from July 10 to August 8 this year. This however does not apply to officers, award staff and teachers who have been deployed for COVID 10 and SSLC answer paper evaluation work, it has been clarified.
