Mangaluru: Elderly men test corona-positive repeatedly - Doctors in quandary

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jun 15: The health condition of two elderly men has been baffling the doctors from the city since a month. These two have been treated and repeatedly tested, and their reports have shown six times during a month that they are coronavirus positive. These two men have been eagerly waiting to get discharged but their test results do not permit that to happen.

An 81-year-old man who came from Dubai on May 12, and another person aged 76 who came from Dubai on May 18, are visibly healthy. They have not exhibited symptoms of coronavirus, but repeated tests have proved that they are afflicted by coronavirus.

All the six tests performed on them so far have given positive results. Unless a negative result is received, the doctors cannot discharge them. These elderly men are seeing that other people have been walking home free of coronavirus but they are forced to stay back. This has been creating tremendous mental pressure for them.

The wife and daughter of the 81-year-old have been cured and discharged from the hospital but the man has to wait. Patience of these two patients is running out and the doctors are confused about what they can do.

Faulty kits, faulty collection of samples and false positives (due to viral remnants) are the cause.Ideally supplementary investigations like MRI/CT/XRAY Chest and clinical findings should be combined to determine if someone is Corona positive or negative.

Dead particles of the virus is the cause of the positive testing. They are not infective. Please check for antibodies. If they are immune release them.

Yes, the dead particles may cause "false positives". An antibody test will only show that they have developed antibodies to an active case of the virus in the past. It will not show whether they presently have active cases.

All tests done by the kits used give positive when they detect dead particles or RNA genetic sequence test, which doesn't prove whether they have the infection as it only indicates they had it.
The same way if any germs invade the system the body produces Exosomes to neutralize the toxins produced by the viruses, which exactly matches that of Corona RNA profile & is the reason the repeated false red flags in most of the cases.
Test for antibodies & let them go to their home if found they have developed the antibodies. As per new findings asymptomatic patients hardly or rarely transmit the infections contrary to the past theories or assumptions without any scientific evidence.
