The balloon, reportedly filled with gas, caught fire from a candle on the birthday cake, triggering a sudden burst of flames. The terrified woman shrieked in pain as the shocking moment unfolded.

A video of the incident has gone viral, with social media users expressing concern. “Very scary, risk of face burns,” commented one user, while another said, “I'm afraid of balloons for the rest of my life.”

Similar Tragic Incidents

In 2023, a seven-year-old girl, Alexandra Kelly, lost her life after a balloon wrapped around her head while she was playing. Her mother, in a heartbreaking Facebook post, recalled her desperate efforts to save her daughter.

Last year, another birthday tragedy struck in Punjab when a 10-year-old girl, Manvi, died from food poisoning after eating a contaminated birthday cake ordered online.
