Panaji, Jun 14: After a tea boy in a COVID hospital tested positive, two kitchen staff at the ESI hospital also tested positive for the coronavirus.

As per sources, the tea boy who was supposed to collect tea from the kitchen and place it on tables for patients according to a specific system failed to abide by the rules and rather entered wards with infected people.

Now, the two staff from the ESI hospital have picked this infection from the tea boy. A family who stayed opposite to the tea boy house also tested positive, as the kids of the former would play with the latter. The families stay at the ESI quarters, a TOI report stated.

As of now, half of the ESI hospital staff received their results on Friday, while the rest will receive on Sunday.
