Mangaluru: 3-year-old boy dies after compound wall, gate collapses on him

Mangaluru, Jun 8: In a tragic incident, a boy died after the compound wall and the gate of his house collapsed on him while he was playing.

The incident took place near Santoshnagar mosque, Munnur village, here on Monday, June 8. The deceased has been identified as Aiman (3) son of Ashraf and Ayesha.



According to sources, the toddler died when the wall fell on him.

The compound wall collapsed all of a sudden and the child got stuck under it and died.

    Very very sad .This incident could have sure avoided if the work on wall and gate done precise and carefully .and someone could control during the work.Even when there is a small child in house is keep an eye at your surrounding and child too.crying later never bring back the a human life.Heartfelt sympathy to the whole family.may the soul of this boy rest in peace.

    Its really very sad to hear this. May his soul rest in peace and may the almighty Lord give all the strength to his parents to bear this loss. I hope this unfortunate incident becomes an eye opener to all the parents who let their children play around substandard and dangerous constructions being done. Its a pity that we in India do not have strict and safe building standards being followed and also no quality control of building materials being used. I do agree that people are forced to compromise on the safety due to the cost factor which is beyond the means of any common man. But whatever the case we cannot afford to be negligent in these matters i suppose and we need to take precautionary measures to avoid any such mishaps.
