Bengaluru: Hotels might open soon - CM to hold meeting with hoteliers

Bengaluru, May 26: As trains, buses and flights have resumed in the state, automatically hotels, lodges and restaurants will be in high demand. Hoteliers have demanded permission to reopen their businesses, and the chief minister (CM) is likely to take a decision on this issue at a meeting that will be held with the hotel owners on Tuesday, May 26.

Karnataka Pradesh Hotel and Restaurants Association representatives will be participating in the said meeting. The hoteliers hope to be able to convince the CM to permit them to reopen their businesses.

President of the association Chandrashekhar Hebbar said that hotels and restaurants are needed for people going from place to place with the opening of bus, train and air travel. He said that the hotel owners are now facing huge losses.
