Bengaluru, May 25: Many people appear to be taking the deadly challenge posed by coronavirus pandemic lightly. Several, whose hands have been stamped and were instructed to be in quarantine, are seen coming out and moving about freely. Several such incidents were reported from different parts of the state and one such incident was witnessed at Majestic bus station here where a couple which was supposed to be inside quarantine was seen moving around freely.

The couple had come to the city from Hyderabad. Therefore, their hands were stamped and instruction to undergo quarantine were issued. However, they were found roaming around the Majestic area before reaching the KSRTC bus station to go to Chitradurga. The KSRTC staff who saw quarantine seals on their hands were taken aback. Later, the couple left for Jayanagar South End by an auto-rickshaw.

Another person who was home quarantined was also found in Majestic here. People from other states who arrived by trains were seen normally moving towards Majestic to catch buses to their places. A man from Uttar Pradesh, likewise, was about to board a bus for Bagalkot when the KSRTC staff saw the seal. They asked him to take a private vehicle.
