Suzlon Foundation distributes 150 food kits among needy

Udupi, May 14: Suzlon Foundation on Thursday distributed 150 food kits among 150 needy families in Padubidri. Local MLA, Lalaji Mendon who handed over the kits lauded the work of Suzlon Foundation. “The prime minister and the chief minister are trying their best to strengthen the economic condition of the people amid the corona effect. May the industries achieve excellent progress in the future,” he said.

Kaup tahsildar, Mohammed Isaq said that the district administration will extend all the necessary assistance to the people returning to their homeland. “Suzlon company has donated rice to the local people during the initial stages of coronavirus. It is heartening that they are distributing food kits now.”

Palimar panchayat president, Jithendra Furtado, Padubidri panchayat president, Damayanti Ameen, Prakash Shetty Padebettu, Navinchandra J Shetty, Avaral Karunaker Shetty and local milk federation office bearers thanked Suzlon Foundation.



Suzlon officials, Himaker Poojary, Puneet Rai, Aspen officers Jinaraj Ermal, Vyas Achar, Kiran Kumar and others were present. Suzlon Foundation, CNR division officer, Prasad Kumar welcomed the gathering. Arun Kumar T rendered the vote of thanks.
