Mangalore: Negligence of City Bus Driver Kills Celine Pinto (58) Near Jyothi Circle

Mangalore, Dec 9:  A woman reportedly lost her life  near the Jyothi Circle following a tragic road accident caused by a rash and negligent city bus driver, on Wednesday December 9.
 
The deceased has been identified as Celine Pinto (58), wife of Dolphy Pinto, resident of Lower Bendoor. The city bus hit her when she was stepping out of an auto rickshaw.
 
Mrs. Celine was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to her grievous injuries.
 
 
The traffic east police said that a case has been booked against the bus driver for his negligent and rash driving.

    Heartiest condolence to the family of the diseased. May her soul rest in peace. As reported, the death is caused while she was stepping out of an auto. Who exactly caused her death here ? The Bus driver or the auto driver ? If drivers of both vehicles adhered to safety measures couldn't an unfortunate death avoided ? Are we also not responsible for our own safety too ? Had the lady ensured that no vehicle are coming up before getting out a lot of misery to her own family would have been avoided.
