Beltangady, Apr 7: Amidst the rise of pandemic COVID-19 the surroundings must be cleaned and sanitized. In this view, ICYM Madanthyar unit members in collaboration with the Madanthyar Gram panchayat had undertaken a mission to sanitize the whole town along with the cleaning the town on Monday, April 6.
Along with the ICYM, other organizations from different communities joined their hands. All the members who gathered actively participated in the cleaning mission. As there was no movement of both public and private vehicles, the cleaning mission was completed successfully. The entire cleaning work was done under the guidance of Madanthyar Panchayat and ICYM Madanthyar unit director and parish priest Fr Basil Vas.
More than 50 volunteers took part in this noble mission.
