Another Coronavirus suspect tests positive, count rises to three in Kasargod

Kasargod, Mar 19: Another coronavirus suspect tested positive in the district on Thursday, March 19. With it, the number of coronavirus positive cases has gone up to three. A young man who had arrived from Dubai a few days ago is the one who was tested positive after laboratory tests. He has been kept under medical observation.

The virus was confirmed in the laboratory report received on Thursday evening. Besides him, the virus was found earlier in a student who arrived from China and a person who had arrived from Dubai. The third case has created fear among people.

As many as 546 people are kept under observation in the district. Nine people among them are admitted to isolation wards. The blood samples of 21 people have been sent to laboratory for tests. So far, blood samples of 170 people were sent for laboratory tests and coronavirus was found among three of them. The test reports of many other people are awaited.

    There should be one further step should be taken. Need to find out their point of infection. It will help lot. Just concluding by saying travled from particular overseas place is wrong.
