I totally disagree with Mr T.K. Hamza's comments. This was a purely a kannada meet.Hailing from Kushalnagar, KDKG Team, Dakshina Kannada Kodagu Gowda Samaja, 20 of our Samaja have volunteered in this event and we really experienced this. The organisers tried to procast all the different cultures in Karnataka including my wife who dressed up to show our traditional kodagu costumes & culture.Prominent poets, kannada doctors, eminent personalities from Karnataka region (In fact 220 People) have been invited, they were given a chance to express, talk, show their skills, later, individually honoured by Momentos for their achievements by a momento.

Sadanana Gowda purely represented as a kannadiga and not as a politician, his entire speech was on Kannada Mela and nothing on politics.M.M Chandru stressed in his speech to all kannadigas staying here to preserve kannada culture. Rani Sathish was also invited for the mela.....! So how can one conclude and give such statement.

it looks like BJP political sammelan, Sadanand gowda, Mu.Ma. Chandru etc., why the organizers have failed to invite presidents of Congress & JD they are also Kannadigas I beleive. instead of inviting these political wastage they would have invited Hajabbas, Kannada poets, artistes, singers, writers, Kannada NRI Buisness people who contributed more to Karanataka and kannada language.
