Mangaluru: City bus staff caters to passenger needing emergency care

Mangaluru, Mar 13: The conductor and driver of a city bus, realizing that a passenger of their bus was in need of emergency care, admitted him into a hospital out of humanitarian concern. This incident happened in a city bus that was moving towards State Bank from Kunjathbail.

Conductor of the bus, Vishnu and driver Dayanand, acted quickly and saved the person from possible danger.

The 'Master' bus bearing No. 13B was bound for State Bank from Kunjathbail at around 3 pm on Thursday March 12 when a youth seated in the bus fainted due to ill health. The bus driver then drove the bus without stopping anywhere from Kunjathbail to Kavoor Junction, after which the conductor admitted the passenger into a hospital. The conductor took the youth in an auto rickshaw to a private hospital in the city. He then contacted his family members on mobile and appraised them about the incident.

The gesture of the bus staff has come in for lavish praise.

    No doubt Its really a noble gesture. One should apreciate this. At the same time the bus staff may be conductor etc. should try their level best to provide seats to senior citizens/aged persons in case any young or middle aged persons occupy the seats meant for senior citizens.

    Dear Sir,

    I agree that Ambulances should have been available on spot etc.
    But please understand except from 2000-04 & 2014 to till now, it was not "Gau BJP" which was ruling India, it was so called "Grand Old Party" ruled the country.
    Did the Ambulances suddenly disappear as soon as "Gau BJP" came to power ?

    Kumari karkala,madam,are you asking for a ambulance?Are they wait there on the road side one to be sick and call?Most important than that just think the time suppose you call a ambulance ,and reach there time passes and with it might be patient also if at all it comes.Think logically and first appriciate the bus conductor and driver for their quick thinking and rushing the patient to hospital.And frankly to speak ,everyone person who sees one is sick and need help ,have to act and give it in his ability possible.It applies even to driver or conductor in their vehicle ,and all person who are near .Whether one does or not is another point.Dont you think you too will expect the same from others suppose you fall sick in bus?Change your mind and thinking.Good action from bus staff.saved a life.
