Mangaluru: Shakthi Institutions felicitate founder K C Naik

Mangaluru, Feb 28: The heads, staff and students of Shakthi Institutions felicitated the founder of the institutions, K C Naik on his receiving the Honorary Doctorate from Mangalore University.

Naik was conferred upon the doctorate for his outstanding contributions in the field of education, culture and social service.

The administrator of Shakthi Education Trust Baikady, Janardana Achar delivered the felicitation address applauding the many-faceted services of K C Naik toward society.

K C Naik in reply to the felicitation said that he felt rewarded, for the people of Mangaluru joined their hands with him in all the activities in building a value-based society. He said his dreams have been materialized on founding the temple and Shakthi Institutions along with other business concerns. He added that his responsibilities toward society have been increased in getting the prestigious honorary doctorate from the University.



Vidya Kamath G, the principal of Shakthi Residential School welcomed the gathering. Prabhakara G S, the principal of the college proposed the vote of thanks. The chief advisor of the Education Trust Ramesh K, Neema Saxena, the co-ordinator of Shree Gopalakrishna Pre-school, Prakyath Rai the Institute Development officer were present on the occasion.
