Mangalore, Nov 3: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Camp held in the campus of Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy in the city, concluded on Monday November 2.
The closing ceremony held at 11 am on Monday, was presided over by Susan Varghese, director of the camp. She narrated the tasks executed by the NSS volunteers during the camp and appreciated the participants for the success of the camp.
MLA U T Khader, who was the chief guest of the function, stressed on the importance of working together, in the interests of the society. He opined that serving others contributes to the building of a person’s personality. SDMC president Abdul Khader, Sali, former gram panchayat president, and the high school in-charge teacher, participated as guests of honour.
NSS Camp director, Susan Varghese, handed over a fan, donated by NSS, to the in-charge of the high school. The NSS unit members expressed their gratefulness to the people who contributed to the success of their camp.
