Karwar: 'Book everyone on dais along with Amulya' – MP Anantkumar Hegde

Karwar, Feb 21: Uttara Kannada MP Anantkumar Hegde, has urged the state government to book all those who were present at the dais along with Amulya Leona Noronha when she raised slogan hailing Pakistan, for sedition.

In a twitter video giving his response to the incident in which a journalism student hailed Pakistan at an anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protest at Freedom Park, Bengaluru, he said that those who were with Amulya at the time also deserve to face the sedition charges.

Hegde opined that leftist ideals have now got transformed into treason. "Anti-CAA protest has got a change of face into anti-national and anti-Hindu movement. Therefore, all those who were on the dais at the time should be tried for sedition. Anti-nationals should be arrested immediately. Anti-CAA protests should not be allowed to be a stage for the anti-nationals to exult and become ostentatious. Everyone deserves to be arrested for sedition," he urged the government.

    Peace within the sub-continent was the mantra of religious leaders from India and Pakistan who had come together at the World Culture Festival on Saturday; with Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar saying “Jai Hind and Pakistan Zindabad should go together”.
    Amrish gurung, in comment section rightly asks - Why pakistan jindabad in what sense it's a crime the 14 year old girl was arrested in bengaluru for same sloganeering. Would he be arrested. Wake up hindus don't blindly follow such people.
    Having hear the words of Sri Ravi Shankar, I have a right to know, how can Sri Ravi Shankar is Patriotic saint and Amulya Leona Noronha can be a traitor?
