Dubai: Billawa Balaga Ladies Wing Celebrates Second Anniversary

Dubai, Nov 1: Billawa Balaga Dubai Mahila Vibhaga celebrated its second anniversary on 30th Oct on the auspicious day of Tulsi Pooja. The celebrations began with the ladies performing the Tulsi Pooja at the venue.
The celebration was organized at the Zen Restaurant inside Zabeel Park. The venue was the perfect cozy ambience for the evening and occasion. All committee members of Billawa Balaga Dubai and Mahila Vibhaga participated in the celebration.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by Anoushka Poojary, followed by prayer from all the Mahila committee members. The program was compared by Shivangi Suvarna and exciting spot prizes were hosted by Nidhi Suchit. The games were innovative and entertaining and were conducted by the Mahila members.
The sabha ceremony was conducted by Geeta Suvarna, President of Billawa Balaga Mahila Vibhaga. She outlined the growth and achievements of the Mahila Vibhaga over the last two years and emphasized the need for further social projects focused on uplifting the deprived section of society back home. She thanked Billawa Balaga Dubai members for being a constant source of support and encouragement to the Mahila Vibhaga and appealed to all to carry forward the objectives of Balaga with the same zeal and obsession. She reiterated the importance of respecting and acknowledging the always selfless attitude of women.
Keeping guru’s principal and passion for human understanding, Mahila Vibhaga felicitated some key personalities by presenting them with mementos. The felicitated members were Shailesh, CEO of Bottomline Advertising, Sarita Kirodian and Madhav Hejmady, Gen Secretary of Billawa Balaga Dubai
Shailesh of Bottomline Advertising was honored in admiration of support extended by him to the Billawa Community to fulfill its core purpose and values. Sarita Kiriodian was honored for having demonstrated an exceptional and outstanding human understanding, exemplary courage and compassion and supporting Smt Sheetal Naik at her time of need. Madhav Hejmady was honored for exemplary efforts, outstanding dedication in community building and selfless service for Balaga.
A cake was cut to mark the second anniversary celebration. Popular singing artist Sayed Khan entertained the audience with his beautiful voice and took everyone down memory lane with hits from the 60's and 70's. Sumptuous dinner buffet was followed by vote of thanks by Kruti Chandrashekar. She thanked the executive committee members Geeta Suvarna, Roopa Sanil, Jayshree Chandrashekar, Smitha Suchit, Aparna Pushparaj and Shwetha for their diligent effort in making an unforgettable evening.
