The attack resulted in the deaths of 44 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. VHP and Bajrang Dal calls out publicto pay tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama attack on February 14.
“We demand the union government to make it officially a day to commemorate Pulwama Martyrs’ Day every year on February 14.
"Bajrang Dal strongly opposes Valentine's Day celebration on February 14. Valentine’s Day is western culture celebration which attacks the Indian culture. Youths need to come forward to pay tribute to Pulwama Martyrs on February 14 instead of celebrating Valentine's Day. We also demand shopkeepers not to sell the greeting cards pertaining to Valentine's Day celebration,” he said.
District convenor Bajrang Dal Puneeth Attavar, district convenor Udupi district Dinesh Mendon and others were present.
