Media Release

Jubail, Oct 18: The inaugural edition of AMACO Cricket Carnival kicked off with colorful opening ceremony marked by music, dance and magic show extravaganza here at Jubail, Saudi Arabia on 16th October 2009. It was a real display of south Asian obsession of cricketing temperament.

The AMACO had made all arrangement to make it a big and jovial moment cricket lovers in Saudi Arabia by enacting typical international style opening ceremony associated with cricket. The music and dance performance  by an expert group provided the perfect rhythm for gala event. The magic show added the glitter to the show that was attended by hundreds of spectators gathered in the event.

The proceedings started with skippers of the 12  participating team marching with flags to demonstrate and keep up the cricketing sprit above all else. The captains took pride in inking their signature on the board. Captains were presented with caps by  Maqsood  and Althaf AMACO. The twelve captains stood in abiding spirit to unveil the three trophies of winners. The tournament was declared open as Metab Alam from Dywidag allowed the parrot to fly freely.

Followed by the inauguration and entertainment, the stage was set for the inaugural match between CLASSIC JUBAIL vs BLUE STAR DAMMAM. CLASSIC Jubail won the inaugural match in style by defeating BLUE STAR Dammam by six wickets.  Colorful presentation ceremony followed the match in which highest six hitter, highest scorer, highest wicket taker were presented with yellow, and blue caps respectively. Man match was awarded to Mr. Fahad From Classic scoring quick 18 runs and 2 wickets  for his scintillating performance.

First of all i would like to inform that, on behalf of me i will not accept any apolize from anyone, i haven't made any murdur to apolize. In my comment i didn't blame anyone, if i don't have sportsman sprit i would have stoped the game and come out from the ground, but i never did that. on that time myself i am the bowler, so i gave my personnel opinion. I am never going to blame Amaco Specially Mr. Asif & Brothers or committee members, they give us opportunity to play in their tourney, they selected only one team from Dammam, so i will never blame them. one behalf of Blue Star i will pray with Allah for their sucess.

Dear Hyder Blue Star, i saw ur comments coasteldigest, i think instead of blaming the umpires that also you captain of a team ,,,, try to win the game by playing not by blaming others if u want to say any thing say to ur bowler ,,not the organiser,, try to win ur next game...
