Mangaluru, Jan 26: St Anns PU College fondly bid farewell to the students of the second year PUC on January 25. The programme began with a prayer service and the audience was welcomed with a dance performance. A skit on the impact of social media on the youth was the highlight of the programme. A wishing song and an entertainment dance were also presented. A PPT presentation opened the floodgates of the past by portraying snippets from the two years on the PU life of the outgoing students.
A representative from each class of the second year PUC shared their experiences and expressed their love for their alma mater and gratitude towards their principal, lecturers and non-teaching staff for making them confident and capable to face the outside world.
The principal in her message wished the outgoing students the very best in their board exams and future endeavours.
For the seniors, the day was filled with nostalgia and mixed feelings of sadness and excitement.
