Mangaluru, Jan 21: Puttur MLA Sanjeev Matandoor said, "Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy needs to be treated at NIMHANS with regard to his statement over bomb scare at Mangaluru International Airport.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, January 21, Sanjeev Matandoor said, "Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has blamed police for the Mangaluru airport bomb incident. Instead of encouraging the police for bringing the situation under control and taking all measures to safely detonate the bomb, Kumaraswamy is blaming police for the incident. He needs to be investigated, and treated at NIMHANS.

“The incident at the airport has led to fear among public. Whoever involved in it should be traced and probe should be undertaken,” he said.

MLAs Vedavyasa Kamath, Dr Y Bharath Shetty, newly appointed district BJP president Sudharshan and former MLC Monappa Bhandary were present.
