Bengaluru, Jan 1: The three deputy chief ministers (DCM) of the state are annoyed against Renukacharya who was preparing for a signature campaign to cancel the post of DCM. Among huge opposition to the campaign, DCM Laxman Savadi had complained to BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel asking him to tell Renukacharya to do only his work. Nalin Kumar Kateel has directed to stop the signature campaign immediately.

“The post of DCM was created by the high command. Therefore, the high command and the chief minister will hold discussions and decide if the post is required or not. You work within your purview. Collection of signatures to cancel the post is not good for the welfare of the party and the government. Stop it immediately,” Kateel reportedly said in his strong directions.

Dr Ashwath Narayana also had complained to Kateel soon after the complaint of DCM Laxman Savadi. Another DCM Govind Karajola had also said to chief minister that it is not a good tradition. “Only the high command and you should decide if the DCM post is necessary or not,” he had lamented to the chief minister.
