Bengaluru, Dec 12: In a tragic incident that is reported under Indiranagar police station limits of the city, a student, who got anxious because he was asked to bring his parents to school in the wake of a scuffle he had with other students of the school, killed himself by hanging at home.
Venugopal (13), studying in seventh grade of KRLS school of Dommalur in the city is the unfortunate boy who lost his life in this incident.
Venugopal had fought with his classmates in school two days ago. He had threatened his classmates by brandishing a knife. The teachers who saw this had spoken to Venugopal in length and had asked him to bring his parents to school.
Venugopal, who got tensed as he thought that the parents will also take him to task if they come to know about his fight with other students in the school hanged himself at home as per the details provided by the police.
The parents of the deceased boy are wailing in front of the school. Parents of other students are also holding a protest in front of the school.
Indiranagar police have registered a case in this connection and are investigating further.
