Bantwal, Dec 12: Carmel College Modankap organized a day-long shramadan ‘cleanliness next to godliness’ at DKZP higher primary School, Nalkemar.
It was a seva project under ‘Divyas Best Student – 2019’ of Integral Yoga Sathsangha Mangaluru. Babitha Felsita Pereira of III BB A, student of Carmel College, was the organiser of this seva project assisted by a group of students. The seva project was inaugurated by Yogish Poojary gram panchayat member, Amtady.
College principal Dr Sr Latha AC and vice principal Florine Menezes, Jyothi, H M, DKZP higher primary school, Nalkemar, Vijaya Kumar, SDMC president, were present.
Awareness regarding plastic management was given to the school children and public. Students cleaned school campus and planted saplings.
