Bengaluru, Dec 11: A video depicting BJP state general secretary and MLA Aravind Limbavali, in an indecent act, which had become viral sometime back in social websites, has been found to be fake.
The forensic science laboratory (FSL) experts who conducted tests, have given clean chit to Limbavali. The FSL experts, in a report given to assistant commissioner of police, Marathhalli subdivision, who happens to be the investigating officer for the case, said that the video which was claimed to be that of Limbavali is not genuine. The experts found that the facial features of persons in the video are unclear.
A complaint had been lodged during July this year, charging unidentified people with creation of indecent video by using Limbavali's photos, thus causing his character assassination.
With the issuance of this certificate, the BJP camp is agog with rumours that Limbavali might be inducted as a minister during the cabinet expansion exercise in the state. Limbavali was not made a minster because of the said video. His name had earlier been considered for the post of the state BJP president but then too his name was not cleared.
