Udupi: Myrtle Lewis takes charge as principal of Shirva Don Bosco CBSE School

Udupi, Dec 9: Myrtle L F Lewis took charge as the principal of Don Bosco CBSE School Shirva on Monday, December 9.

Myrtle has a vast experience in teaching of over 35 years. St Mary's English Medium School got a new look and achieved greater heights under her leadership.

She had retired as principal of St Mary's English Medium School, Karnarpady, earlier this year.

Don Bosco CBSE School Shirva falls under the Catholic Board of Education, Mangaluru diocese.

The post of principal was lying vacant since October 11, 2019, after the death of Fr Mahesh D'Souza, the former principal of the school. 

Msgr Dr Baptist Menezes, vicar general diocese of Udupi, introduced her to the school management, staff and students. Fr Vincent Crasta, secretary, Catholic Education Society Udupi, Wilson D’Souza, vice president, Parish Pastoral Council, Melwyn D’Souza, Melwyn Aranha and other management committee members of the school, were also present.
