Kuwait, Sep 5: Tulu Koota Kuwait has announced that its mega event of the year, 'Tulu Parba' will be held on October 9, 2009 at American International School Hawally, from 10:30 am to 6 pm. The day-long festivity will comprise of various cultural programmes. The highlights of Tulu Parba will be Asia Darshan, fashion show, singing, dances and skits.
In connection with 'Tulu Parba' being organized on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of Tulu Koota Kuwait, various competitions will be held on Monday September 21, for the valid members of Tulu Koota Kuwait, at the Indian Community School Auditorium (senior girls)Salmiya.
It is a unique opportunity for the Tulu Koota members and their children to showcase their talents. There will be competitions like Muddu Kanda, colouring sketch, drawing, dancing, fancy dress, make up and hair style for female, male dressing up as a female and the salad competition for men.

Tulu Koota Kuwait has also announced that merit-cum-means scholarship will be handed over during the ‘Tulu Parba – 2009’.
Tulu Koota Kuwait firmly believes in the great value of education and is strongly committed to helping the needy students to achieve their educational goals.
Applications are accepted from the members of Tulukoota, holding a valid membership of not less than one year, in respect of their children, studying either in the state of Kuwait of in India, who have scored high grades at Xth and XIIth standard Board Examination held during the academic year 2008-2009. Copies of the marks sheet and proof of income should be submitted along with the application, to Mohammed Iqbal (Tel: 99483350) or Sathya Narayan ( Tel: 66585077) on or before September 30, 2009. Candidates obtaining high grades, but found not eligible for the merit-cum means scholarship, shall be honoured with merit certificate and medal.
