Mangaluru, Nov 22: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), here signed an MoU with Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on Tuesday November 19.
The main objective of the MoU is to have an industry-institute interface to enhance the confidence of the students by nurturing young minds and help budding young talents. SJEC who was earlier a member of KCCI has elevated its bonding with the apex body by signing this MOU.
The MoU was signed by Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, director of SJEC and Issac Vas, president of KCCI in the presence of Shalomi Lobo, member of Industry-Academia Committee at KCCI and Vathika Pai, member of KCCI, Fr Rohith D’Costa and Fr Alwyn D’Souza, assistant directors of SJEC, Prof Lionel Aranha, Governing Board Member of SJEC, Dr Sudheer M, in-charge principal of SJEC, Rakesh Lobo, HR manager of SJEC, Sureshnath ML, head of training, placement and collaborations at SJEC, Diana Monteiro, collaborations officer at SJEC.
HOD’s of various departments of the college were also present.
