Purushothama Poojary addressed the students after inaugurating the sports meet. He said, "Students should not be discouraged when they do not win. Every failure is a stepping stone to success. Regular practice makes the students perfect in any of the games and sports. Participation in sports and games will never hinder their studies. It helps the students to inculcate self-discipline."
Baikady Janardana Achar, administrator of Shakthi Education Trust, speaking on the occasion told the students that the goal of education is to promote friendship, integrity and discipline. "Students should utilize the opportunities given to them in the school and aim at achieving something great in their lives. A balanced growth of mind and body is very essential for personality development."
K C Naik, the managing trustee of Shree Gopalakrishna Temple, Prabhakara G S, principal of Shakthi PU College, Vidya Kamath G, principal of Shakthi Residential School, Prakhyath Rai, the institution Development Officer, Neema Saxena, the co-ordinator of Shree Gopalakrishna Pre-School were present.
The principal of the school welcomed the dignitaries and the audience. Srinivas, the Physical Education director proposed the vote of thanks. Divya Jyothi, the lecturer compered the programme.
