Udupi: 10th Manipal Cardiology update held at KMC

Manipal, Nov 2: The 10th Manipal Cardiology update was conducted on Friday, November 1 at Dr TMA Pai auditorium, KMC Manipal. Each year focusing on different themes.

This year it is focused on Aortic diseases and Interventions. Around 500 delegates participated in the conference from various institutions. Eminent speakers from various reputed Cardiology institutions all over India were delivered speech in the subject.

The inaugural function was presided by Dr H S Ballal, pro chancellor, MAHE, Manipal. Dr Poornima Baliga, pro vice chancellor was the chief guest, Dr Arun G Maiya, dean, Manipal College of Health Professions was the guest of Honor. Dr Sharath K Rao, dean, KMC, Manipal, welcomed the guests, Dr Tom Devasia, professor and HOD, Cardiology and the chairperson given a brief overview, Dr Sudhakar Rao, organizing secretary, rendered the vote of thanks.

Another organizing secretary Dr Ganesh P was present on stage. Programme ended with Dr Arun Kusugal memorial quiz competition for MD Medicine students. As many as 35 papers from various discipline of Medicine were presented by research students in the conference.
