Kundapur, Nov 1: Kundapur station police in the leadership of sub-inspector Harish on definite clues arrested two Ganja peddlers selling the contraband in a car and seized the drug on Thursday, October 31.
The suspects were standing to sell the drug on vacant space in the north on the curve leading to Harihar temple, Kumbhashi, Kundapur near I20 Car registration No. KA20 Z 641. SI Harish after getting permission from senior police officials raided with station staff Santhosh Kumar, Manjunath, Gokula, Mohan, Santhosh, Chandrashekar and driver Santhosh Kumar and conducted search on the suspects.
The police have confiscated 604 grams Ganja worth Rs 20,000 from the peddlers. The arrested were Nischal (22), resident of Gurukula road, Kalavara village and the other a minor.
A case is registered at Kundapur police station. Investigation is in progress.
