I don't know the exact nature of his comments and whether it is blasphemous or not. But as far as he does not harm anyone, does he not have the right to air his point of view on any issue? I am a bit surprised that he was arrested for saying something on a ritual. I believe, normally people tend to disregard such comments. I am sure a lot of people would have witnessed some derogatory comments here and there on rituals which we normally ignore. I think, it's a bit harsh and should be ignored. 6356

No one has any rights to comment on any religion!!! those are to be punished. How we are respecting our mothers then same to our religion...when we feel your mother is like mine then no one will do that.

Faith is faith and the culture and traditions followed by each group generation after generation is in some way give strength to the people by emotionally making them strong for the true believers.

Any thing of faith is not the one to be proved in laboratory and insulting is like insulting the followers of faith. However, if any traditional practice harms people in anyway the authorities has to take care. This man unnecessarily invited trouble.

A change is required in the educated society. No religious activities should cause disturbance to other communities. One should make sure that, while performing rituals it should bring spiritual feelings in everyone's mind and heart instead a noice polution and disturbance.
