Udupi: DK District Photographers’ Association Annual Sports Day Held

Udupi, Aug 9: The annual sports day of Dakshina Kannada (DK) District Photographers’ Association, Udupi zone was held at MGM playground here on Saturday August 8.



Udupi Press Photographers’ Association honorary president Astro Mohan inaugurated the programme. Cricket and tug-of war competitions were held wherein a total of six teams participated.

South Kanara Photographers’ Association, Mangalore vice-president Jayakar Suvarna, Dakshina Kannada District Photographers’ Association, Udupi Zone Photographers’ Association honorary president Raghava Padmashali and president Harish Kemmannu were present.

As part of the programme, sports for senior citizens such as athletic competitions too were held. The programme was inaugurated by Udupi Urban Development Authority president Sudhakar Shetty at Lions Bhavan, Brahmagiri, Udupi. Senior Citizens’ Forum President Narayan Shetty and Vishwajna Shetty were present.
