Mangalore, Aug 7: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management will be organizing a one-day Technopreneur Awareness Programme, at its premises on Monday August 10.  The programme is being jointly organized, in association with Technopreneur Promotion Programme Out Reach Centre (TePP), Siddartha Institute of Technology, Tumkur. TePP is the nodal centre for the promotion of innovations through the funding of DSIR, government of India in Karnataka.  TePP renders financial support for innovations from various fields of science and technology.

This programme will have interactive sessions, panel discussions and video clippings of success stories.  All the institutions in Dakshina Kannada (DK) district have shown keen interest in the programme by deputing delegates to attend the programme. 

Bhandary Foundation president Manjunath Bhandary will inaugurate the programme, here on Monday August 10. 

Organizing such programmes will definitely bring out innovative ideas for successful commercialization and creates entrepreneurs, says Dr D L Prabhakar, principal of the institute.
