Mangaluru: Ganesh Kelagina Beedu Shenoy features in India Book of Records for miniature paintings

Mangaluru, Oct 25: Ganesh Kelagina Beedu Shenoy from here, entered the prestigious India Book of Records for his artwork 'Maximum miniature paintings on a single A4 sized sheet'.

He created 1029 miniature paintings, with 775 miniature paintings sized 1cm × 0.5cm and remaining 254 paintings sized 1cm ×1cm, drawn on a single A4 paper card using color pencils and acrylic colors.

He is the son of veteran artist and Lalit Kala Academy award winner, Late K Pundalik Shenoy. His mother, Late Padmini Shenoy was also a noted artist.

Ganesh Shenoy works in Sodexo, Qatar. Right from childhood he's been interested in painting and secured many prizes / recognitions. He has painted and exhibited hundreds of paintings on Lord Jesus Christ. Last year, one of his paintings on Lord Jesus Christ was featured in 'L’Osservatore Romano' – Newspaper of Vatican city.
